Could AI recrete this? I think not! The “Glorious Beasts” have been swimming around in my brain since highschool, back when they were only the doodles in my workbook margains. They have since become almost a protest against the rise of and uncertainty surrounding AI generated art. Beasts on the Brain encompasses the chaos of what the mind can think up of completley on its own and just how fun the actual process of art itself can be. AI Generated ‘art’ is all about the end result and how well it can replicate a ‘good’ piece, the beasts are all about the journey: how many niche little references and individual little monster characters I can cram onto one page, resulting in pieces that allow you to find new aspects and elements on every viewing.
